I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gently autumn grain.–Hopi Prayer

I love this author.
What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step. It is always the same step, but you have to take it.

Grass
Posted by Christine on December 16, 2009
I am currently reading Wheatgrass, Nature Finest Medicine by Steve Meyerowitz.
Here are a couple quotes regarding grass:
I believe a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars.
-Walt Whitman
When I touch grass, I tough infinity. It existed long before there were human beings on the earth, and it will continue to exist for millions of years to come. Through the grass, I talk to the Infinite, which is only a silent force. This is not a physical contact. It is not the earthquake, wind, or fire. It is the invisible world of nature of which I, too, am a part.
-George Washington Carver
